The crushed grapes (and a small percentage of whole ones) undergo maceration for 12 days; there is frequent pumping over in the first few days of maceration, reduced to 2 in the final week.

The wine matures for 10 months in oak barrels and for a further 2 months in bottle prior to release.

An aristocratic wine with its ruby hue traversed by garnet highlights, on the nose it offers delicate scents of cherries enhanced by warm leathery hints and a mellow, vanilla-toned spiciness. Its flavour is broad and multi-faceted, with a wealth of nuances underpinned by rich but well-integrated tannins.

75 cl Bordeaux-style bottles.
