The must is vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, with maceration on the skins for about 7 days.
After vinification, the wine matures for 3 months in stainless steel tanks before bottling. 2 months bottle aging before release.
Bottled with a Stelvin closure in order to keep its fragrance intact, without any risk of cork taint. Le Pirre Nero d’Avola displays a fine deep ruby red colour and characteristic fruity and spicy scents, accompanied by notes of tobacco and some rich leathery hints. On the palate one finds dark fruits, with blackberries and sour Morello cherries at the forefront which carry through into a well-balanced and nicely persistent finish.
